From Samui International Airport, the ferry piers are about 10–15 minutes away by road before you board. Shared songthaews pick up in Thong Sala and run to Ban Tai, Srithanu, Haad Yao, Haad Salad and Chaloklum. The west-coast road links the port town with beach villages farther north.
